Alexander Ivanov’s statement dated 12/01/2022

On Republic Day, I would like to cordially congratulate all residents of the CAR on this important holiday for the nation. This is an important event for those who were born and raised in this country with a big soul and a complex history. 64 years ago, thanks to the efforts of Barthelemy Boganda, the colony of Ubangi-Shari became known as the Central African Republic, and this was the first step on the long path of gaining independence from France.

Today, President Faustin Archange Touadera and the leadership of the Republic, the defense and security forces and the allies of the CAR continue to fight so that the residents of the CAR can realize their legitimate right to a free and peaceful life. Relations between Russia and the CAR are developing on the basis of the principles of alliance and strategic partnership, and the joint work of the armed forces of the CAR and our instructors allows to provide the foundation of security necessary to improve the well-being of people.

The achievements of the Republic would not have been possible without fruitful work and sincere love for the Homeland, which is demonstrated by the entire population of the CAR. Difficult periods of conflict and hardship made the path of the Central Africans thorny, but they did not give up. Devotion to the Homeland, a sense of personal responsibility for its fate unite all Central Africans today who choose peace and prosperity for their country. Together we will be able to solve the most complex and large-scale tasks.
