Alexander Ivanov’s statement dated 03/03/2022

I have been asked in recent days whether Russian instructors or members of private companies are taking part in the special military operation in Ukraine.

I can say with certainty that none of the current staff of the Officers Union for International Security is on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, according to my information, employees of other private companies operating in Africa, which foreign media attribute to the so-called PMC Wagner, are not there either. All these companies continue to work in the countries where they have been invited, and are only increasing their activities!

Only regular military and law enforcement officers are involved in the special operation in Ukraine, that is what I am sure of.

Alexander Ivanov,
Head of the Officers Union for International Security
